Meet our work experience student Fin Dubey

This week we have Fin Dubey joining us in the office as a Year 10 work experience placement student from Nossal High School! Fin Dubey (15) is looking forward to their VCE.

What are you looking forward to in your time at Express Media?

I’m looking forward to seeing what goes on behind the scenes of Voiceworks and learning about how I can improve my own writing :)

Do you read/write yourself? Who are your favourite writers?

I read and write as much as I can! I’ve always been drawn to both since they challenge me (in a good way) to consider perspectives outside of my own. They’re like a glorified empathy exercise. My favourite writer is probably Raymond Carver because of his ability to create so much meaning out of the most simple words.
