Voiceworks #111 Riff

$12.00

‘Riff’—the illustrated issue! For the first time ever, each story, poem and essay has been illustrated by a young artist. You’ll find poetry on commitmentphobia, transgender identities and the 2003 Hong-Kong SARS outbreak; fiction spanning from the Dirty War of 1970s Argentina to a Macca’s drive-thru in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs; and nonfiction exploring environmental activism and the moral quagmire of consuming art by dreadful men—all visually interpreted by seriously talented young artists. All these literary goods are wrapped up in a stunning double-cover by Lee Lai.
